Webley Tomahawk .22

Here is a Tomahawk I won in a photo contest a while back, I'm very pleased with this gun, with a bit of TLC and break in I now shoot pine cones off trees at 50-60 yards with no problem.

I've not tested velocity for the simple reason that it does not matter, the power is sufficiant for my use and at a level where it's actually comfortable to shoot with.

The winter picture is the one I won the contest with over at http://airgunworld.org/

bam 26-2 .22

Decided to test out a chinese springer.
Received it from Bestairgun a week ago and been playing around with it for a while. It is a beautiful gun and absolutely worth having but my plan was to sell it on after I've tried it out.
I have to stick with the plan to keep the better half happy, she has a thing about having more guns then you can shoot..
Handbags and shoes is obviously not the same as guns:)
I did a chrony test when I first got it but after a bit of shooting, it settled down a bit, today it reached 740fts with 14.3gr RWS which is 17.39 fpe.
This is more then I expected but I'm not complaining.
The recoil is pleasant and with the beautiful stock it is a pleasure to shoot with.
Precision in this rifle is far better then what I can achive, I shot a half inch group at 30 yards in windy conditions.
With a stock built like this you do need high mounts,so I ordered the combo through bestairgun at $199 and got a Xisco 4x32AO scope with high mounts.
I'd have to say the package is good value for money and the scope is ok at that price.

QB79 .22 Custom

Got hold of a target stock for QB78, modified it to fit my QB79, sanded it down and painted it black.

Fun gun, does around 787fts with 21gr Barracudas.

FX Storm .22

Received this one today, it was a trade for som car stereo equipment I had stored away.

It was scoped with a Tasco 6-24x42 and fitted with an silencer, I know I know, fully legal here though:)

The gun has 8 shot mag and room in the stock for 2 spare mags, there is also a pressure gauge and 3 power levels available.

Also a FX pump in the package as well as some pellets, crappy ones though so guess they'll end up as 9mm bullets for my Career.

First things first, after unpacking I oiled it down and pulled through a few times, scope was mounted a tad skew but have to try the new toy first and I ran out of patience:)

Shot a few mags just getting the feel of it and I must say the cocking is REALLY different and takes some getting used to, on instinct I want to pull the rifle tight to my shoulder but with this gun that will only result in putting another pellet in the barrel.

However it only took a couple mags before I was aquinted with it and really found it a pleasure to cock, it's almost too easy and FX says a mag can be fired in about 3 seconds, I do not doubt that.

The feel of the gun is also solid and a pleasure to hold with a light weight at 2.7kg or 5.9lbs, almost too light for my taste but for those hunting it'd be perfect.

I've not done a proper shot string yet but I pushed a 21gr Barracuda through the chrony after shooting a serie and it was doing just over 30ft.lbs or around 42J, factory says it gets 30 shots per fill on full power.

So power is respectable but what about accuracy?

After a quick sight in I shot 5 shots at 50 yards with the result you see above, definitly acceptable:)

Diana Mod 48 .22

This is a great springer! Powerful and delightful to shoot, I had heard alot about springer recoil before I tried this one but there wasn't much recoil to speak off.

It is accurate and because of it's weight it lays steadily in your hands while shooting, I wouldn't change a thing about this gun, it is just that good.

Farco Caliber 32 co2 Gun

This is a CO2 gun from the Phillipines, it shoots .310 roundball at around 600fts.

Not that great velocity but heavy bullets makes for a powerful punch, more velocity can be had with a tune.

A fun shooter and an inexpensive gun, you have to admire the craftmanship of the Phillipines:)

Walther LP53 Target Pistol

This is a 10m match pistol of past days, you surely can find better pistols these days(and more expensive), that said this has become a collectors item and it is great to shoot with.

Crosman 2240

This pistol is the best out there when it comes to co2, is tons of custom aftermarket parts for it and it can be tuned to do just about anything.

I have 2 and is about to rebuild at least one of them, maybe even make it a BigBore:)

It is an affordable pistol to say the least and far better then most crap in that segment, it also delivers a significant better punch then most co2 guns "out of box".

QB79 .22 Co2

A chinese CO2 gun with great possibilities, this one runs off air and is a fun plinker.

Easy gun to mod for both power and accuracy and can get as good as you want it, can't go wrong with that and it for sure will teach you alot about airguns.

Did I mention it is cheap?

Shinsung Fire201s 9mm Airgun

This is indeed a powerhouse, a 9mm airgun and a true BigBore.

Shoots .360 roundball with great accuracy and power, I also make my own 124gr bullets and have some 147gr bullets that both shoot very good and with great authority.

Rifles like this have been used to take down big game(where legal) previously reserved for firearms.

Where airgun hunting is legal this surely must be every hunters dream, accurate and delivers around 200J.

FX Typhoon 12 .22 with Match Barrel

Had this over a year now and I'm very happy with it, accuracy is incredible at 50 yards and even at 100 yards.

I did a small tune on it and now it's delivering around 56J with 21gr Barracudas which is pretty good, it is however not in the same class as the FX Cyclone and FX Cutlas but it is a damn sight cheaper.

I suffer from a severe case of airgunitis (never get enough) but even when I always crave a new toy it is incredible hard to part with this gun, it is just such a dream to shoot.

Are you looking for smoothness and accuracy this is certainly one to consider.
